John De Bono

Director and Principal Consultant

John is the founder of GroupWise Australia – People Development Services, and consults as a Professional Coach, Supervisor, Workplace Mediator, Trainer, and Facilitator. He utilises a range of interactive learning dynamics and is influenced by his training in Humanistic Education, Psychodynamics and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

He has also completed training in Generative Coaching with Stephen Gilligan both in San Diego and Sydney.

John has worked in senior and executive roles for many years before becoming a consultant, where he assists people become more aware of their personal functioning while navigating the complex territory of the workplace and organisational life.

John provides services across a range of sectors including education, government, disability, welfare, aged care, justice & community safety, and health care sectors including palliative care and indigenous health. He has designed and conducted professional development training workshops for Boards, Executive, all levels of Management and Frontline Staff.

John’s interests include Leadership, Workplace Culture, Team Development, Restorative Processes and Communication.

John has served on several boards and committees such as the Australian and New Zealand Workplace Mental Health Association Symposium Advisory Committee. John currently sits on the Clinical Ethics Community of Practice St Vincent’s Public Hospital Melbourne and facilitates fortnightly Community of Practice sessions for Mercy Health.

Jenna De Bono

Training Consultant
Jenna is a qualified Social Worker and Sexologist. She has worked primarily in the youth mental health and disability sectors as well as the tertiary education sector. In her social work practice, Jenna works from an intersectional, holistic and person-centred lens. As a Social Worker and working in large complex organisations, Jenna understands the strengths and the tensions that are inherent in group and team dynamics and the importance of maintaining balance, perspective and wellness in our lives and at work. Jenna has interests in diversity and inclusion, managing and preventing burnout and LGBTIQA+ healthcare.
